When it comes to scheduling Facebook carousel posts, you have two options - multi image & carousel. Multi image is the default, and recommended in most cases.

Videos are not supported in either carousel or multi image posts.

How to schedule a Facebook multi image post

Facebook multi image posts display as a grid. The style of the grid changes deepening on how many media you've added.

These are the most common type as you don't need to add a title, description or link to each image like the carousel type.

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open the Calendar page
Schedule a new Carousel
Scroll down to the Facebook section
Select multi image as the type


Click schedule or save as draft to save

Multi image posts can only have a maximum of 9 images

How to schedule a Facebook carousel post

A Facebook carousel post is scrollable and take additional details like title, description and link. The link value is required for all images.

If you do not add a title & description, Facebook still renders a box where it would be - which doesn't look great, so we recommend adding a title & description to each image.

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open the Calendar page
Schedule a new Carousel
Scroll down to the Facebook section
Select carousel as the type


Add a title, description & link for each image


If using the same details, you can click the copy buttons to make life easier
Add your caption, select a time and any other details
Click schedule or save as draft to save

Carousel posts can only have a maximum of 5 images
