How to connect your Instagram profile

Make sure your Instagram is a business profile & connected to a Facebook page that you have a role in.

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open your Social Sets
For an existing social set click manage and then instagram profile, otherwise click add social set then instagram profile
You will be sent to Facebook to authorize the connection to Pallyy
Make sure the Instagram profile and Facebook page it's connected to are checked
Make sure all permissions are checked
Accept and follow the prompts (you will be automatically sent back to Pallyy)

|| If your Instagram accounts do not show in step 4, check that you have an active role as a admin or editor to the connected Facebook page. If you update your role, start again from step #1. Learn how to check your Facebook page role here.

| If there's no errors, your instagram profile is now connected and ready to use in Pallyy

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open your Social Sets
Click manage on the social set the profile is in
Click the trash icon next to the profile

||| Deleting a profile is permanent and can't be reversed. It will also delete your instagram analytics and inbox threads.

Check your Facebook business integration settings

If you're having issues refreshing your Facebook or Instagram accounts, it may be because Pallyy does not have access to them. To resolve this, you must check your Facebook business integrations settings to make sure we have access.

How to check Facebook business integration settings

Make sure you're logged the correct Facebook account
Go to your business integration settings
Next to Pallyy, click view and edit

Scroll through the list of permissions and make sure they are all checked
Return to Pallyy and refresh your connections

And that's it, as long as you gave us the permissions your profiles should refresh and/or be available to add into a new social set.

If you're still having problems you may need to re-authorize your Facebook connection. Head to the social sets page and clicking settings in the top right, then click re-authorize you facebook connection.

Click generate to get 3-4 caption ideas, which you can view by clicking the back/forward buttons under the caption.

If you'd like to use the caption again, select a list otherwise click add caption

You can only connect Facebook Pages that you have a admin or editor role in. Unfortunately personal profiles are not supported yet.

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open your Social Sets
For an existing social set click manage and then facebook page, otherwise click add social set then facebook page
You will be sent to Facebook to authorize the connection to Pallyy
Make sure the Facebook page is checked
Make sure all permissions are checked
Accept and follow the prompts (you will be automatically sent back to Pallyy)

How to schedule a post

To get started scheduling a post you'll need to have at least one social profile connected. If you haven't connected any, connect one from the Social Sets page.

How to schedule a post

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open the Calendar page
If creating a media post, make sure you have already uploaded an image/video to your media library
Create your post with one of the following methods:

a) drag a image or video from the left library to the calendar
b) click new and then choose a post type, or
c) hover a day and click the + button then choose a post type

Select the socials to post to, and choose a date & time

Add your captions, tags and additional details
Click schedule or save as draft if you are not ready for it to be published yet

|| FOR MOBILES: The process is exactly the same except that you will click the + button in the bottom right to start the process

Copy captions

When you are adding your captions you can save time by clicking the copy caption icon to copy your caption across too all the other platforms. Just look for the copy button at the bottom of each caption box.
