Manage your Instagram profile connection

How to connect your Instagram profile



Make sure your Instagram is a business profile & connected to a Facebook page that you have a role in.

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open your Social Sets
For an existing social set click manage and then instagram profile, otherwise click add social set then instagram profile
You will be sent to Facebook to authorize the connection to Pallyy
Make sure the Instagram profile and Facebook page it's connected to are checked
Make sure all permissions are checked
Accept and follow the prompts (you will be automatically sent back to Pallyy)

If your Instagram accounts do not show in step 4, check that you have an active role as a admin or editor to the connected Facebook page. If you update your role, start again from step #1. Learn how to check your Facebook page role here.

If there's no errors, your instagram profile is now connected and ready to use in Pallyy


How to delete your Instagram profile



Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open your Social Sets
Click manage on the social set the profile is in
Click the trash icon next to the profile

Deleting a profile is permanent and can't be reversed. It will also delete your instagram analytics and inbox threads.


How to refresh your Instagram profile



Occasionally your Instagram account connection may become disconnected for a number of reasons, like changing your Facebook password. When this happens your Facebook & Instagram posts may stop posting.

Follow these steps to refresh your Instagram profile:

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open your Social Sets
Next to your social set click manage
Next to your Instagram profile click refresh, you will be redirected to Facebook
On the Facebook page, click edit settings
Ensure your Instagram profile is checked
Ensure all of the permissions are checked
Click through and you will be redirected back to Pallyy

If your Instagram accounts do not show in step 4, check that you have an active role as a admin or editor to the connected Facebook page. If you update your role, start again from step #1. Learn how to check your Facebook page role here.

If you get an error, you should check that you are logged into the correct Facebook account that has access to the Instagram you're trying to refresh

If there's no errors, your Instagram profiles will be refreshed and any warnings should disappear


How to bulk refresh multiple Instagram profiles



If you have multiple Instagram profiles connected you can refresh them all at the same time.

Go to your Pallyy dashboard and open your Social Sets
Click the settings button in the top right
Click reconnect all FB & IG profiles, you'll be redirected to Facebook
On the next Facebook page, click edit settings
Ensure all of your Instagram profiles are checked
Ensure all of the permissions are checked
Click through and you will be redirected back to Pallyy

If your Instagram accounts do not show in step 5, check that you have an active role as a admin or editor to the connected Facebook page. If you update your role, start again from step #1. Learn how to check your Facebook page role here.

If there's no errors, your Instagram profiles will be refreshed and any warnings should disappear
